Hello friends of El's Cards.   I regret to announce that I have some sad news.

My favorite store, Visibility, will be closing its doors by the end of 2019.  It has been such a pleasure to be associated with this lovely shop.  Carie, Susan, and Mary (the wonderful owners...and I'm proud to say my family too) have been carrying our cards since they first opened their doors in their first location on Stevens Avenue in 2003.  Unfortunately, they were unable to negotiate a lease that meets their current needs, so they have decided to close their doors. 

So be sure to go in and stock up on pretty things before they are sold out!  So often when asked where I got my jewelry or clothing or accessories...my answer is Visibility!  Well now is the time to go and see this awesome place for yourself!  I'm going to Visibility for a shopping spree (as Bob calls it) and mani/pedi on Wednesday this week. I will be stocking up on all my favorites.  You know those colorful cashmere shawls that are a staple in my wardrobe! They have so many beautiful items available!  Great jewelry, cute tops and sweaters, stylish and comfy pants....I can't wait to see what Carie has new for fall!

Visibility is at 1041 Washington Avenue in Portland, Maine.  They are open 7 days a week from 10am-5pm.  Seriously.....don't miss the chance to enjoy the fun atmosphere of this lovely shop run by these three amazing women!  They have worked so hard to make Visibility what it is today.  I can't wait to find out what the next chapter will be for each of these inspirational women!
