Cape Cod Wedding with Hand Painted Calligraphy
This was a fun one! Courtney and Brendan came to us for save the dates and then continued the watercolor border theme all the way through the wedding day. I love all the floral accents tied in at the Dennis Inn.
The couple selected all of their stationery items from our website.
- They started with our Watercolor Border save the date.
- Courtney and Brendan then selected our Watercolor Border invitation and they customized the envelope liner with our Cape Cod map with names and venue.
- Table numbers were our Watercolor Border design style also.
For the wedding day, the couple decided to go fully custom with their signage. I hand lettered all signage in watercolor calligraphy and Bob then printed it on heavy cardstock to be used as signs, including an oversized sign directing guests how to find their seats and a sign for a table of photos for loved ones, among several others.
We were lucky enough to meet this great couple in Chatham, MA at a craft show the summer before their wedding-not long after they had ordered their save the dates. Lately we have been working with couples from further away, so we haven't been lucky enough to meet many of our couples in person. We are so glad they took the time to come to our show! Thank you so much, Courtney and Brendan for letting us be a part of your special day. Your creative approach to the signage was truly unique.
