These colorful flowers were so much fun to paint! Crystal and John Michael had some great ideas for their wedding invitation custom design, and I was thrilled that this fun couple trusted me to bring their vision to life. Naturally, since we too are cat lovers, it was a perfect match.
The couple and I had a phone call and talked about the different colors to incorporate and what flowers would be used by their florist. They wanted their new kitty, Ash, to be featured somewhere-and the stamp seemed the perfect place! Crystal and John also ordered enough of the custom cat stamps to use later on their thank you notes.
We incorporated blueberries, greenery, assorted flowers, and a bee on the invitation and the details card. The couple selected our digital calligraphy option and Bob also assembled and mailed out the invitations.
Then it was time for the wedding day paper goods! I was SO excited when I saw these gorgeous photos! Our stationery tied in perfectly with the colorful nature of the wedding day. Flowers everywhere enhanced the selection of designs Crystal and John selected for their wedding day paper goods.
We incorporated their special flower designs on the ceremony programs--with a detail of Ash on the back of the program. Then the escort cards and menu cards each had their own flower designs. There were tags for the welcome bags and an illustrated schedule of events with a welcome note on the back. The welcome bag tags had a rope design to tie in with the lake theme...as did the table numbers.
Of course, the signature drink sign was illustrated with honey and bees. And the beer and wine list featured favorite flowers from the couple's custom artwork. There was custom dessert signage for their special cookies and Italian desserts, and an instagram hashtag sign as well.
It was a pleasure working with this couple and creating so many unique and special pieces of artwork for their wedding day. I'm glad you found us, Crystal and John Michael! Wishing you the happiest marriage!
