Allison reached out to me last summer to create a custom invitation and we put together something special for her wedding paper goods. She liked the Sunset Sky invitation and the Salty Air invitation, so we combined the two so it was totally customized just for this couple. The envelopes were in a blush pink and they each had their own artwork-lobster buoys for the large outer envelope and the reply envelope had the adirondack chairs in gold. The envelope calligraphy was in gold. The reply card was in the sunset sky style, and there were gold adirondack chairs on the reception card.
For the wedding day, we carried the Sunset Sky design theme throughout. From menus to escort cards with white calligraphy, this colorful design was a perfect match for Allison and Aaron's gold and pink decor. We also created gift tags with the gold adirondack chairs for the favors.
Allison had me write the names of the bridesmaids in gold calligraphy on the cute bags she was giving them as a gift. Along with that was a special card with gold calligraphy on the envelope.
A couple of sentimental details of note: The tulle around the photographed invitation is from Allison's wedding dress and the blanket in that invitation layout was made for the couple by Aaron's 96 year old grandmother.
Working with Allison was a real treat. We are so happy that we were able to bring her wedding day stationery vision to life! It's now been a year since Allison and Aaron's Maine coast wedding! Happy Anniversary to you both!
