The Z107 Bridal Showcase was a great success! On Sunday, we participated in the Z107 bridal showcase at the Whittemore Center at UNH in Durham, NH. It was our first time at that show, and we met so many great couples! We have done wedding shows in Portland, ME and The Lovesick Expo in Boston in past years...but this was our first time at this show and we were thrilled with how many great couples we had the pleasure of meeting.
The show kicked off with a fashion show of gorgeous wedding gowns to get all of the couples thinking about the big day! Our friend, Joanne McDonough, from Joya Beauty in Dover did all the makeup on the models. I highly recommend Joanne if you are looking for a talented makeup artist to do your wedding makeup. We have worked with her in the past and Joanne is a true professional!
We saw some old friends and colleagues too! Jay Sandifer was there with Hardy Farm (one of our favorite barn venues!). Laurie Andrews Design created the beautiful setting on stage for the bridal show.
We work with Portsmouth Harbor Events all the time! We were so happy to see the lovely ladies, Meagan and Lauren from that venue and chat with them a bit about what's going on for them in 2017. Since it was our first time at this show, it was great to touch base with some old friends! We also saw Carolyn and Rachel from Mill Falls in Meredith, NH. I had worked with Carolyn when she was at a previous venue in Maine, so I was so excited to see that she had moved to New Hampshire. Looking forward to working together at this beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee location.
We also met some great new vendors and are looking forward to working together in the future! Our direct neighbors were great! On one side, we had Wentworth by the Sea Hotel, located in New Castle, NH. We chatted with Abigail and Alyssa throughout the day and it was wonderful to finally meet them. Our other neighbor was Duffy's Tavern from Kennebunk....my old alma mater! Chris and his crew were there promoting their new property in Old Orchard, Maine....the perfect reception spot if you want to get married on the beach.
We met Katie from the gorgeous Mountain View Grand in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and Samantha from Ragged Mountain Resort. We had a long conversation with a talented florist, Kaitlyn Guillemette, from In Bloom, right in Durham. We really look forward to working with everyone we met in the future!
And we were so excited to launch a new twist on our signature hand painted seating charts! More on that later this week.....but if you were there...you already know the BIG news that will allow more couples to enjoy this custom item!
Bob and I hope we got the opportunity to meet you too! So much to think about when planning a wedding...we hope we can help clear up some of your questions about stationery.
