I love teaming up with other wedding vendors to participate in styled shoots! So I was just delighted to hear from Greta Tucker about being a part of this beautiful Valentine's Day theme Proposal shoot. One of the things that I love best about Valentine's Day is the color scheme....so I just couldn't say no to the invitation.
The first thing I did was create a watercolor painting using all of the flowers that would be used for the shoot. From roses to anemones and tulips, I totally enjoyed creating this special artwork. It was then incorporated into different layouts for the various signage that would be fun for a proposal..."Will you BE MINE forever?" is my favorite. All of those signs are lettered by hand in gold calligraphy. That new watercolor design has received such a great response, we are offering it as one of our new Prints!
The visionary Christina from Pinch me Planning had the idea to have fun drink signs, so I created some artwork to be used on illustrated beverage signage. Looking to my wedding season ahead, I think we may have a winning new product for our couples.
From the stunning florals, to the gorgeous table decor and layout this was truly a beautifully styled shoot. The bride-to-be looked stunning in every way-hair and makeup were both perfect! And all of those desserts! This was my kind of party!
